Tool engineering & Prototyping
Marigold Dies & Tools Pvt Ltd (MDTPL) is ACPPLs subsidiary toolroom located in Pune, India. Having the capability to produce dies & tools for all kinds of sheet metal parts, the toolroom has delivered various big projects over the years.
Design
MDTPL designers are highly skilled, and able to design & draft mid-size to large-size tools up to 2500 mm in length. CATIA V5 & AutoCAD are used for tool design. CAE simulations are done before design initiation to include design change requests (DCRs) if any, remove any irregularities in part quality (material thinning, crowding, etc.) & improve material yield. We have made tools for parts having high strength steels such as DP590, DP780 & DP980 as well chassis parts having thickness up to 6 mm.
Manufacturing
All key manufacturing processes are controlled in-house. Our die makers are experienced & ensure perfect manufacturing quality which ensures less iterations in tool try-out. MDTPL has capability to manufacture tandem & progressive tools.
Try-out
MDTPL has in-house try-out presses ranging from 100T to 500T. Our tool try-out engineers work closely with the design team to ensure perfect component development. Our tooling lead time is 14-16 weeks.
Prototyping
With complete capability from design to try-out, MDTPL also offers prototyping support to our customers. Our lead time for prototype parts is 4 weeks.
Facilities
Fully equipped design centre with CATIA V5, AutoCAD for design, Faro arm for CMM, manufacturing setup equipped with hardness testing machine, try-out presses from 100T to 500T, jig boring machines, radial drilling machines, M1TR machines, VMCs, surface grinders are few of the facilities in MDTPL.
